Seasonal Floral Design 101B: Floral Arches and Installations with Autumn’s Beauty

$100.00

Friday, September 19, 2024

2:30 - 5:30 PM

Wilding Hope Farm and Studio, 229 Cuba Mills Road Mifflintown, PA, 17059

Come learn how to use sustainable mechanics to create lush floral arches and standing floral installations using autumnal branches, dried pods, vines and grasses, glorious Dahlias and other seasonal blooms. Together we will create an elaborate backdrop of florals for the Harvest Farm-to-Table dinner hosted at the farm that evening.

For those who want to take their floral skills to the next level, this workshop will focus on creativity, problem solving, and creating 3D sculptural forms using florals. This is also an excellent workshop for those wishing to move away from using traditional floral foam in their design work since we will only be using sustainable mechanics. A photographer will be on hand to capture the process. Participants will leave with European hand tied bouquets and a wealth of knowledge about how to create sustainable floral installations. Light refreshments will be provided.
